Integrating Church Community Builder: Giving
For Restore Community Church in Kansas City, their branded app from Aware3 has empowered their people to be more generous than ever before.
Aware3’s giving feature has been a game-changer, particularly for first-time givers. “Ever since we started mobile giving, we’ve seen offerings from people who have never given before,” says Zach Henderson, Center of Excellence Director with Restore. “And those who already gave are now giving more regularly and more generously.”
Before, Restore members could give online through CCB, but it was an underutilized feature. And the church had also tried a text-to-give option; it was simple for people to donate, but there was an added fee with every gift.
“Aware3 was a great choice for our church’s app because of how seamless it is with Church Community Builder,” Zach says. “It works well because it’s easy.” Aware3 works on autopilot, so Restore’s staff now spends less time on accounting and processing and more time on ministry.
As a multi-campus church, Restore relies on the segmenting feature too. It’s easy for people to be generous, designating their money to the ministry they want to support.
Since launching Aware3, Zach says, Restore has seen their regular donors become even more generous. “We’ve definitely seen a rise in giving, even among those who were already making an offering every month.”
Furthermore, Aware3 has simplified the process for Restore’s younger members. “We have many young people who don’t carry cash and don’t have a checkbook,” Zach says, “Which makes traditional giving more difficult. But using the app, we’ve seen a huge increase in first-time gifts.”
The return on investment is obvious — churches that use Aware3 see increased giving. From giving to the community to connection, Restore has seen how Aware3 makes CCB come alive. “It works well because it’s easy,” Zach says. “It’s crucial to our ministry, and I know it’s only going to get better.”
